Accommodation

The city of Zaragoza has a wide and varied range of hotels in terms of both quality and price, which are mainly in the city centre. In addition, numerous hostels, B&Bs and apartments make the city accessible to those on more modest budgets. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own accommodation.

Coffee breaks and lunches at the Congress

Coffee breaks will be held in the Faculty of Law cafeteria.

Conference participants, when completing their registration, will be able to purchase tickets for the lunch menu offered from Monday to Thursday in the Faculty of Science and in the Faculty of Law cafeterias (each ticket approx. €8). There is also a wide range of cafés, restaurants, pizzerias, burger bars, sandwich bars and supermarkets to suit all budgets around Plaza de San Francisco.

Getting around

Both Congress venues are in the city centre and are well connected by tram and bus. Pre-paid bus and tram cards can be purchased. Individual tram tickets can also be purchased from the machines available at the tram stops.

San Francisco Campus. Tram: “Plaza de San Francisco” stop; buses: 501B, CI1, CI2, CI4, 411.

University Rectorate (Paraninfo). Tram: “Plaza Aragón” and “Gran Vía” stops; buses: 21, 22, 32, 35, 38.

The city centre can be reached by bus from the bus station, railway station and airport at a reasonable price (a 30/45-minute journey). As well as municipal taxis and other companies (Cabify, Uber), there is an efficient municipal bicycle rental system and the Congress venues are connected by cycle lane. Electric scooters can also be hired through service provider apps.

International visa requirements

Some Congress participants may require visas in order to enter Spain. Please check wether you need a visa with your local Spanish Consulate or Embassy.
