The Zaragoza Congress welcomes eighteenth-century scholars from all over the world, creating an unparalleled setting not only for personal and academic encounters, but also for reflection and dialogue about initiatives, strategies and projects that contribute to revitalising the internal life of ISECS and the future of international and multidisciplinary research on the eighteenth century as a whole. The Growing as a Scientific Community (GSC) Programme invites participants to organise thematic sessions and roundtables specifically focused on discussing the creating of potential new research areas. We recommend that proposals be sponsored by at least two national branches of ISECS or two researchers from two different countries.
We also welcome thematic sessions, roundtables, individual presentations and posters on the Congress’s main theme or any other aspect related to the “long” eighteenth century that focuses on the use of Digital Humanities (DH).
Please mention the inclusion of contributions in these two programmes when completing the forms for contributions, if applicable.
Contributions submitted to these two programmes will be assessed by the Scientific Committee and will be duly certified.
